I'm HUGE!

Nora went to her second Dr Appt. this week so they could check her weight. She weighed in at a massive 6lbs 5oz. Very impressive. We're gaining weight at a good rate and hopefully she'll fill into her lanky little body soon.

Our new family pic... :) We're pretty excited. We got professional pics done of Nora (& us). We had to capture how small peanut is until she fills in. This was when she was only 5 days old. She was such a good girl!

This is our absolute favorite picture of her...

My Hobbies

Nora's nickname is "peanut." She's tiny and lanky and it just suits her. She also like to be wrapped up snug as a bug with as many blankies as possible--she's like me, the warmer the better.

Her eyes are shut, but this was her first bath. Love the frog towel. :)

Taking a snoozer, dressed in a fabulous outfit. Other mommy Lisa dresses her to perfection, so she's as fabulous as possilbe--obviously.

Lisa and I get limited amounts of sleep which makes us very slap happy. We had our first doctors appointment and when they asked for her (Nora's) hobbies I wrote "breastfeeding." I still think it's hilarious.

I get to feed her a bottle or two a day. A little bit for Lisa to sleep and a little bit for me to get some bonding time in there.

Now I think I'm all caught up and will do regular posts now! I'll put up our professional pics when we get them back. It will be nice to post pics that we don't look halfway asleep in. :)

Help is on the way!

We were so lucky to have my sister in the delivery room when we were in labor with Nora. It ended up going pretty quickly and it helped to have Auntie there to help explain everything that was going on. The fact that she's a doctor & delivers babies was an added bonus (yes, we are very spoiled). She also kept my feet warm, as we shared the bench to sleep for a few minutes after Lisa got an epideral.

We had many wonderful visitors in the hospital that came to meet our little Nora. Her cousins, Claudia and Ava did such a great job of snuggling her. Rumor around the Johnson family is that little Nora looks like her Uncle Lee, so I had to attach the pic. I'll be sure to get some baby pics up here.

My mom flew up here asap to meet Nora and help us out for a week. Thank God...seriously. Who knew you could get so little sleep? :) We were lucky to have a 3 set of hands so we could get some nap time in and so Nora could bond with her Grandma.

Here comes Nora!

Well, welcome Nora Kinley! She came to the world at 4:36am weighing 6lbs 4oz. She was a little swollen, little cone-head-shaped...but, I don't think Lisa and I were anticipating how amazing our little girl was. We were completely mezmorized. Finally meeting her, it easily let you forget things like: Lisa's water breaking at work , the crappy labor pains
and that thing we use to get...SLEEP! She's awesome and we're in love. I call her my little (Mona) Lisa.
